Professional Career

I was a “professional starving student” for as long as I could get away with it—and I did for quite a while. After that, I spent 19 years at a Chicago-based firm focused on infrastructure engineering design for international projects. I then served for 17 years as Chief Systems Development Officer at a Madison, Wisconsin-based company that guaranteed and serviced student loans.

Scouting

Active member of Scouting for more than 70 years and still energized by what the program offers to youth. Eagle Scout with palms and Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow. Currently serves as a Unit Commissioner in the Portage Creek District of the Pathway to Adventure Council and as a member of the Portage Creek District Committee. Past board member of multiple councils. Wood Badge trained and currently on staff for a Wood Badge course.
